Fundraiser for grandmom, grandkids who lost home in fire me

A fundraising appeal has been launched to support an Oshawa family, who have lost their rental apartment due to a fire, according to a GoFundMe page dedicated to them.

Tracey Ryan organized the fundraiser to help out Nancy Moore and her grandchildren, Sophie and Leo, who are facing significant challenges after the children lost both parents in the past three years. Nancy has been bringing them up.

The campaign states that the latest challenge occurred on recently when a fire hit the rental apartment. The family was given 36 hours to vacate the premises. “They are currently without housing and without many items due to water damage after the fire, said the fundraiser page.

It said police and fire attended the residence stating it was an ‘unfortunate accident’.

Nancy, Leo and Sophie and are in desperate need of finances, housing and many items that were lost in the fire. Please help if you can,” reads the appeal.
