Three suspects are sought after robbing a victim in Oshawa.
On Wednesday, March 5, at about 9:20 pm, members of East Division said they responded to a robbery in the area of Coldstream Drive and Taunton Road. The victim was exiting his vehicle when he was approached by three suspects. The suspects pushed the victim to the ground, physically assaulted him, and one suspect struck the victim in the head with a firearm. The suspects stole the victim’s jewellery and fled the area in a dark coloured SUV prior to police arrival.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, police said.
At this time, the description of the suspects is limited. Police are looking three males: two with slim builds, about 5’10” in height, and the third with a heavier build. Further details are still being gathered as the investigation continues.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with video footage, including home surveillance and dashcam, to please contact investigators.
Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact D/Cst. Anderson of East Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 at ext. 1605.
