John Henry starts work from home, Carter chairs meets

John Henry

John Henry, Regional Chair and Chief Executive Officer for The Regional Municipality of Durham, yesterday announced that he has started working from home.

While still taking the necessary time to recover and focus on my health, I am pleased to share that I am now working from home (virtually). However, as I am unable to attend any in-person events, at this time, [Oshawa] Mayor Carter will continue to preside over meetings of Regional Council and Committee of the Whole, on my behalf,” said Henry.

“I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has reached out to my office with well wishes and words of encouragement. This outpouring of support means a lot to me. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the Region of Durham Paramedic Services (RDPS), Lakeridge Health Oshawa, and Toronto Western Hospital for their outstanding level of care and support,” he added.
