Lane restrictions from tomorrow on Kingston Road

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced lane restrictions on Kingston Road in the Town of Ajax.

These are scheduled to begin tomorrow (June 22) and last until to August. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule, the region said.

It said lane restrictions will be in place daily on Kingston Road (Regional Highway 2), from Trawley Crescent to Chalmers Crescent.

They will be in place for the installation of a new noise barrier wall on the south side of Kingston Road.

The region said it realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
