Medallion Developments has applied for:
- Official Plan Amendment Application OPA17-A1
- Zoning By-law Amendment Application Z1/17
The purpose of the Official Plan Amendment is to increase the density limit, to permit apartment and multiple attached (block townhouse) dwellings, and to permit a minimum height of 3-storeys for multiple attached (block townhouse) dwellings.
The purpose of the Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone a portion of the lands to Residential Multiple Six Zone (RM6), to permit commercial/retail uses within an apartment, to establish the maximum density and to set site-specific development standards.
The town is holding a virtual public open house to get feedback on the project.
Three public open houses are being held electronically on the Zoom Webinar platform.
