One kilo of cocaine taken off the streets in Durham

Durham Police said two males have been charged with drug trafficking offences after two Criminal Code search warrants were executed.

On Wednesday, May 24, members of the Central West Community Response Team concluded an investigation into drug trafficking. Two search warrants were executed, one at a residence in Whitby, and the other at a storage unit in Bowmanville, police said.

Police seized a quantity of illicit drugs, including fentanyl, psilocybin, and more than 1,000 grams of cocaine, in addition to a quantity of currency.

A 26-year old of Whitby and a 27-year old of Scarborough, were charged and held for bail hearings. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
