Police looking for help in finding whoever did this

Roadside speed radars are often a target, as this one in Scugog proved to be – and the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) is not pleased about it.

Officers are anxious to find out who vandalized the machine, and are appealing to the public for help.

“Photo radar helps enforce speed limits in school and community safety zones – where kids walk, run, bike and play. They work very well when not vandalized,” said DRPS North Division.

“Notify DRPS if you can assist with this investigation,” it added.

  1. Until you design a way to catch speeders with these devices, the vandalism is going to continue. Perhaps putting the camera on a pole would work….it’s also Sumner, kids have nothing to do…
