Mulitiple tickets issued at unsanctioned Durham car rally

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) said an ‘unsanctioned’ car rally was held in the Town of Whitby on the night of Wednesday July 19.

DRPS Traffic Services enforcement team issued more than 60 tickets, majority of which came from an unsanctioned car rally in Whitby, it said.

“Please remember we are out 24/7 and dangerous/aggressive driving will not be tolerated,” said the police.
