Durham Police yesterday said a male suspect is wanted after robbing a couple of personal jewelry in Pickering.
On August 2 at about 1:15 pm, members of West Division were called to the area of Azalea Avenue and Burkholder Drive for a robbery.
The victims were returning to their residence when the suspect approached the female in the driveway and forcefully removed her jewelry. A physical altercation took place, in which the suspect was stripped of his shorts and shoes, said a police statement.
The statement did not explain how this happened.
The victim fled on foot to a vehicle that was last seen travelling northbound on Burkholder Drive.
Minor physical injuries were reported by the victims.
The suspect is described as male, Black, 20-30 years of age, medium build, wearing a black jacket, white socks and neon green gloves.
Black Volkswagen
The suspect vehicle is described as a black Volkswagen 4-door sedan, possibly 2015-2018, with damage to the rear passenger door.
