Durham Region is advising residents and drivers of upcoming lane restrictions on Bloor Street East (Regional Road 22) and the intersection at Wilson Road South (Regional Road 35) in Oshawa.
The work is scheduled to take place from July 7 to 25, though timelines may be affected by poor weather conditions.
Lane restrictions will be in effect along Bloor Street East, spanning 25 metres west and east of Wilson Road South, and at the intersection itself.
The restrictions are required for the installation of a new sanitary sewer and repairs to the existing watermain at the intersection of Bloor Street and Wilson Road.
Whitby drivers advised of lane restrictions on Highway 12
Durham Region is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Baldwin Street South (Regional Highway 12) in the Town of Whitby.
The restrictions will be in place from July 7 to August 20, though the schedule may be affected by unfavourable weather conditions.
The impacted area runs from north of Taunton Road East (Regional Road 4) to south of Garden Street.
These lane restrictions are required to complete road resurfacing work.
The Region acknowledges the potential disruption and says efforts will be made to complete the work as efficiently as possible. Drivers are reminded to proceed with caution through the area for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and construction crews.
