Tactical Unit called out to help with Oshawa drug raid

Durham Police yesterday said a 27-year-old male and 32-year-old female have been arrested in a drug trafficking investigation in Oshawa.

On Friday, April 21, members of the Central East Community Response Team and Drug Enforcement Unit concluded a drug investigation into two suspects trafficking from residences on Bloor Street East, in Oshawa, said a police statement.

Members took two suspects into custody and with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, and executed a search warrant at two residences. A quantity of fentanyl, cocaine, currency and other drug paraphernalia was seized, worth more than $20,000, were found, the statement said..

The suspects from Whitby and Oshawa, were charged and held for bail hearings.
