Three in net after police find gun, drugs and money

Two males and a female suspect are facing numerous charges after police seized a quantity of drugs, a loaded firearm and cash.

Members from the DRPS Gun and Gang Unit initiated an investigation in May, which resulted in an arrest on October 4 in Stayner, Ontario, where police seized a quantity of fentanyl, said a police statement.

As part of the investigation, investigators executed a search warrant at an address on McMahon Drive in Toronto. Investigators arrested two persons and seized a loaded handgun, ammunition, fentanyl, cocaine and cash.

A male suspect from Toronto and a female suspect from Ajax, were charged and held for bail hearings.

The male suspect from Stayner was charged and released on an undertaking.
