Uxbridge teen arrested after high school stabbing

A 16-year-old male is in custody after a stabbing at a high school in Uxbridge.

On Monday, February 3, at about 11:45 am, members from North Division say they responded to an armed person call at Uxbridge Secondary School at 127 Planks Lane. Officers arrived on the scene and located a male suffering from a stab wound.  He was transferred to a local area hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released.

The suspect remained on scene and was taken into custody without incident, police said.

A 16-year-old male is facing charges and was held for a bail hearing.
