The Town of Ajax said it is reviewing its Waterfront Parking Program and is inviting the public to share their feedback through a public survey, open until November 21.
The program, which runs annually from May to September, offers free lot and on-street parking to Ajax residents. Visitors are charged during weekends and holidays.
Pickering too has a similar program.
The Ajax Waterfront Parking Survey explores how individuals are currently using the program, their satisfaction with the program as it currently exists and areas for improvement. Results will be presented to council in January 2026.
“The Ajax Waterfront is a scenic and well-visited destination. We want to ensure that the town’s Waterfront Parking Policy is still meeting the needs of residents across Ajax. The feedback collected from this survey will help identify the future of the program and ensure it continues to serve our community effectively,” said Kyle Campbell, Manager of By-Law Services.
