Will police get third-time lucky with illegal weed shop?

Durham Police investigators executed a third search warrant and charged the owner of an illegal cannabis dispensary in Oshawa.

On the evening of September 13, members of the Central East Division Community Response Team executed a search warrant at ‘Oshaweed’ arresting the owner and two associates. A second search warrant was executed at a residential address in Woodbridge. In total, investigators seized over $45,000 in cannabis and cannabis products, said a police statement.

Two suspects from Woodbridge and one from Oshawa have been was charged. Two were held for a bail hearing and the third was released on an undertaking.
