Winter storm or not, Durham Police RIDE team was out…

Winter Storm or not, for officers of the DRPS Traffic Services, it was yet another routine night of RIDE enforcement this holiday season.

“Rain, snow, wind … our RIDE team is out there night after night,” said a police tweet.

Last night they were joined by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Safety Division and the members of MADD Durham, in the Town of Whitby.

RIDE teams checked 360 cars resulting in two three-day suspensions issued for warn range drivers.

Drive sober, said the police.
