Stunt driver who crashed into two cars let go on promise

Stunt driving and fleeing police landed a 21-year old man from Toronto in trouble with Oshawa police.

On Thursday, July 16, at around 8:05 am, members of the East Division Community Resource Unit initiated a traffic stop in the area of Coldstream Drive and Ritson Road after observing an Acura sedan operating in an unsafe manner. The suspect vehicle failed to stop and fled from police.

While fleeing from police, the suspect vehicle lost control and struck two unoccupied parked vehicles. The driver then attempted to flee the vehicle on foot, before being taken into custody by officers.

The 21-year old from Toronto was released on an undertaking. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
