Clarington approves 43-townhouse project in Courtice

The Municipality of Clarington has announced that the council has approved a housing development in Courtice, at its meeting on February 26.

The project required a Subdivision and Zoning By-law Amendment to permit 43 townhouse units at 3051 Courtice Road.

The units will be within a future common element condominium block, which means that the units will share common elements such as a private lane, visitor parking, and an outdoor amenity area.

There will also be a pedestrian walkway to access a future public trail along Black Creek.

Major development is taking place in Courtice and Bowmanville in anticipation of the GO train extension from Oshawa to Bowmanville via Courtice.
