Daylight theft of mountain bike from Pickering home

Durham Police yesterday alerted the public that they are looking for a male who stole a mountain bike from a residence in Pickering.

On Sunday, May 5 at about 4 pm, a male entered the garage of a residence in the area of Anthony Court and Cowan Circle, in Pickering. The suspect took a mountain bike that was mounted on the wall and fled the area, police said.

The suspect is described as: male, White, bald head, stubble on his face, with a medium build, and tattoos on both hands. He was wearing a black bandanna, white shirt, dark grey shorts, and brown shoes.

Anyone with cellphone, dashcam, surveillance footage, or information about this incident is asked to contact D/Cst. Dupont of the West Division Criminal Investigations Branch at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2533.
