Elderly pedestrian suffers serious injuries

An elderly pedestrian suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries after a morning collision on February 4 at Dundas Street East in Whitby.

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) said the collision involving the pedestrian in his 80s occurred at Kendalwood Plaza.

The pedestrian was taken to a trauma centre.

The driver of a grey Pontiac SUV stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Police looking for fail to remain driver

 

Durham Police officers are looking for witnesses and anyone with dash-cam video from a fail to remain in Oshawa yesterday afternoon.

After receiving a call at 11:55 am, officers from the Central East Division responded to a collision involving two vehicles at Bond Street and Ontario Street.

One driver suffered minor injuries. The other driver, a man, fled the scene after picking up his front bumper.

Police are looking for a brown/beige Honda Civic four-door with no front bumper and extensive front-end damage.
