Blame it on compulsive disorder or whatever, but some people just seem to keeping getting on the wrong side of the law for repeated minor offences.
That is why Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) North Division officers called the driver of the above vehicle a “habitual suspended driver”.
Though they did not say how many times previously this driver was suspended, they did mention that the person was also “prohibited”.
“North Division Officers charge habitual suspended driver with operation while prohibited x2 and drive while under suspension x1,” said a police alert yesterday.
It said the vehicle was towed and impounded for 45 days in Beaverton, in the Township of Brock.

North Division Traffic also charged another driver with stunt – excessively speeding (40 kmh or more over the speed limit) in Port Perry in the Township of Scugog.
The driver received a 30-day licence suspension and a 14-day vehicle impound (image below).
Since June 17, the police are carrying out Project Northern Focus, a year-long North Division Roadway Safety Initiative, focusing on targeted enforcement and education at major intersections in Brock, Scugog, and Uxbridge.
