Lane restrictions from today on Farewell Street

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Farewell Street (Regional Road 56) in the City of Oshawa.

When: June 6 to 10. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Farewell Street from Harbour Road to 200 metres north of Harbour Road in Oshawa.

Why: To safely install water service to support new development.

The region said it realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise additional caution for pedestrian, cyclist and construction worker safety.
