Lane restrictions in Scugog and Clarington

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Bigelow Street, Beech Street, Kellett Street and Kent Street in Port Perry.

When: September 20 to December. Construction progress and unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: The following streets in Port Perry (Township of Scugog) are affected:

  • Bigelow Street, just north of Kellett Street to Kellett Street
  • Kellett Street, from Bigelow Street to Simcoe Street
  • Beech Street, from Simcoe Street to Lakeshore Drive
  • Kent Street, just north of Beech Street in Port Perry

Why: To complete construction and installation of a new watermain.

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of intermittent lane shifting on Scugog Street (Highway 7A) in the community of Port Perry in the Township of Scugog.

When: The week of September 20 to December. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Scugog Street (Highway 7A) from Pine Court to Ash Street, in Port Perry in the Township of Scugog.

Why: To complete construction of a new watermain.

Lane restrictions on Regional Highway 2, in Courtice

The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane restrictions on Regional Highway 2, in Courtice in the Municipality of Clarington.

When: September 27 to October 29. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Regional Highway 2, from Trulls Road to 150 metres east of Trulls Road, in Courtice in the Municipality of Clarington

Why: To safely construct an entrance and concrete median to support new development.
