Restrictions on Lake Ridge, Goodwood roads till June 9

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Lake Ridge Road and Goodwood Road in the Township of Scugog.

These will begin on Friday May 19, and are scheduled to be completed by June 9, depending on weather conditions.

Lane restrictions will be in place daily on Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23), from 2.3 kilometres south of Goodwood Road to Goodwood Road; and on Goodwood Road (Regional Road 21), from 278 metres east of Lake Ridge Road to west of Marsh Hill Road, the municipality said.

It said the lane restrictions will be in place for the installation of paved shoulders.

The region said it realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
