Man in life-threatening condition after house fire in Oshawa

Emergency crews responded to a house fire in Oshawa on Saturday night, where one male was found inside and transported to the hospital in a life-threatening condition.

According to Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS), officers and Oshawa Fire Services arrived at the scene near Centre Street and Gibb Street at about 8 pm on Saturday, January 20, following reports of a fire.

Emergency responders located a male inside the residence, and he was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

DRPS stated that while the investigation remains ongoing, the fire does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
