A driver with a newly-bought car that was marked not to be driven on the roads, has been caught, according to DRPS Traffic Services.
An officer stopped a car with no plates in the Town of Ajax, it said end of last week. The driver had just bought the car from a local dealer.
“On the bill of sale it stated: must be towed, not drivable, deemed total loss”.
On top of that, there were no plates and no insurance.
Driving an unsafe vehicle is selfish and dangerous, said DRPS Traffic Services adding that the driver was charged and vehicle towed.
