Oshawa plan for four stacked townhouse buildings

Habitat for Humanity Greater Toronto Area has submitted a Draft Plan of Condominium (File: C-O-2022-04) for lands at 485 and 501 Normandy Street and 510 and 512 Lomond Street in Oshawa.

The purpose of the application is to implement a common elements draft plan of condominium for four stacked townhouse buildings varying between three (3) and three-and-a-half (3.5) storeys in height and containing a combined total of 50 dwelling units, said a city notice.

The land containing each building will be a Parcel of Tied Land. The common elements generally include a private roadway, parking, landscaped open space, waste storage building, an amenity area, sidewalks and a water meter room.

The lands subject are also subject to an application for Site Plan Approval (File: SPA-2020-23) and for a Standard Draft Plan of Condominium (File: C-O-2022-03), the notice added.

The application has been determined to be complete.

The Oshawa Development Services Committee will be considering the application at a public meeting on June 6, 2022 – 6:30 pm.

This public meeting is open to the public and will take place in person in the Council Chamber, Oshawa City Hall, 50 Centre Street South. Members of the public wishing to address the Committee through electronic means rather than appear in-person to make a delegation are required to submit their request to speak to this matter no later than 4:30 p.m. on June 1, 2022 by contacting City Clerk Services in writing at clerks@oshawa.ca.
