Durham Police seize 25kg cocaine worth $2.5 million

Two male suspects are facing drug charges following the execution of search warrants in Toronto on Monday, Durham Police said yesterday.  

On Monday, April 11, members from the Drug Enforcement Unit were involved in a drug investigation that led them to the Toronto area.  During the investigation, two males were arrested and two vehicles were seized. At the time of the arrest, 15kg of cocaine was seized.

Three search warrants were then executed in Toronto, which resulted in a further seizure of an additional 10kg of cocaine.

A total of 25kg of cocaine was seized with an approximate street value of $2.5 million.
