Police looking for witnesses after shots fired in Ajax

Durham Police is making an appeal to the public after shots were fired in an Ajax complex on Sunday evening.

On October 8 at about 8 pm, members of West Division responded to reports of gunshots on Marsh Lane in Ajax.

Officers arrived on scene and located two shell casings. However, the suspect(s) fled prior to police arrival.

A canvass of the neighbourhood was completed but police believe there may be witnesses who have yet to come forward. We are urging anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to come forward and assist us in our efforts to locate those responsible, said a police statement.

Police are appealing to anyone that may have any information, dash cam, home surveillance or cell video of this incident to contact investigators.
