A male and a female are facing charges after multiple stolen vehicles were located near their residence in Uxbridge.
On March 4, members of North Division responded to a stolen vehicle call in the area of Brewster Road and Concession Road 5. Two stolen SUVs were located unoccupied and seized.
On April 16, members of North Division responded to a suspicious vehicle call at a property in the area of Brewster Road and Concession Road 5. Investigators received information that multiple newer vehicles were parked in an agricultural area on the property.
Officers were given permission from the property owner to check the area, and located four stolen vehicles. A search warrant was sought for neighbouring fields leading to three more stolen vehicles, of which two had been re-vinned, police said.
On Friday, August 30, members of Project Attire, with the assistance of the North Division Community Response Team, concluded their investigation into the stolen vehicles and arrested a male and female who had been renting a home on the property.
A male, age 23 from Uxbridge and a woman, age 21 from Uxbridge was charged and both were released on an Undertaking. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
