Second suspect in Oshawa double shooting held

Durham Police homicide investigators have arrested and charged a second suspect after a shooting incident in Oshawa in 2020.

On November 29, at about 10:30 am, members of Central East Division responded to a residential apartment on Simcoe Street near Athol Street in Oshawa for a shooting. Police arrived to find a 27-year-old male without vital signs in an apartment unit. The victim was taken to a local hospital but later died in hospital.

One suspect was located at the scene also suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre. Air1 assisted in searching the rooftops of the scene and a firearm was recovered at the scene.

On February 4, investigators arrested a second suspect, Bradley White, age 34, of Oshawa. He is charged with Manslaughter and Robbery. He was held for a bail hearing.
