Suspect in Beaverton multiple stabbing incident arrested

Members of the DRPS North Criminal Investigations Branch reported that they had arrested a male in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred in February.

On February 5, members of North Division stated that they responded to a stabbing in the area of Simcoe Street and Mara Road in Beaverton. The investigation revealed that in the early morning of February 3, the victim was stabbed multiple times and later received medical attention at a local hospital.

Investigators stated that they identified a suspect, and on Wednesday, March 19, he was taken into custody without incident.

A 21-year-old male from Brock was charged and held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
