Three suspects each in two separate pharmacy robberies

Durham Police are looking for three suspects in each pharmacy robbery in Pickering and Oshawa.

On Monday, January 9 at about 4 pm, members of West Division responded to a robbery at the Altona Medical Centre on Altona Road. Three suspects, two males and one female entered the store and demanded narcotics. One of the suspects was armed with a knife. The suspects fled on foot with a quantity of narcotics and cash, said a police statement.

It said the employees didn’t suffer any physical injuries.

Suspects wore dark clothing, but no other suspect descriptors are available at this time.

Police are asking anyone with any new information about this robbery to contact the Major Crime Robbery Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5355.

Sunday robbery in Oshawa

Police are looking for three suspects after a pharmacy robbery in Oshawa on Sunday morning.

On January 8 at about 10:40 am, members of Central East Division responded to a robbery at the Oshawa Lakeview Pharmacy on Park Road South. Three suspects, two males and a female entered the store and demanded narcotics. There was mention of a firearm, but none was observed. The suspects fled on foot with a quantity of narcotics and cash. The employees didn’t suffer any physical injuries, police said.

Suspect #1 is described as male, Black, 5’11” tall, thin build, 20-22 years of age. He wore a black, puffy winter jacket with a hood and black shoes.

Suspect #2 is described as male, Black, 5’10” tall, medium build, he wore a white or light-grey Nike zip-up track suit and black runners.

Suspect #3 is described as a female, wearing dark clothing.

Police has also reported a bank robbery in Bowmanville, where a TD Bank branch were robbed by two men and a woman.
