Two girls, man, drugs in human trafficking hotel bust

Durham Police arrested a male and two females and seized drugs during an investigation at an Oshawa hotel.

On Wednesday, January 11, members of the Human Trafficking Unit responded to the Comfort Inn on Bloor Street West for unwanted parties. When investigators attended, they observed a male flee into the parking lot. The male was eventually arrested and a quantity of drugs were located. Two females were also located in the room and charged, said a police statement.

One suspect from Ajax, another from Courtice and the third of No Fixed Address, were charged. Name and further details will be available at www.drps.ca.
