Two men wanted for Ajax jewellery store heist

Durham Regional Police are searching for two suspects involved in a robbery at a jewellery store in Ajax.

Officers say that the incident occurred on Monday, December 30, at about 1:10 pm, at VP Jewellry on Harwood Avenue North.

According to police, two male suspects entered the store, restrained an employee, and stole an undisclosed quantity of jewellery before fleeing the scene on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries during the incident.

The suspects are described as follows:

  • Suspect #1: A White male, aged 30-40 years, about 6’1” tall, with a heavy build.
  • Suspect #2: A White male, aged 30-40 years, about 5’9” tall, with a slim build.
