Uxbridge announces conditional fee reductions

The Township of Uxbridge has issued a policy paper outlining fee reductions for institutions using its facilities, provided they meet certain requirements.

“Requests for reductions of rental fees are a frequent occurrence at the township,” said the paper. It said the guidelines for reducing fees provide all staff with the tools necessary to support the community.

Those eligible for a reduction of rental fees for select township facilities include:

  • Non-Profit or Charity Organizations eligible for a 50 per cent reduction in the townships standard rental rate, and
  • Community Partnership Organizations, which are eligible for cost recovery as per an agreement with the township.

Rental fees will not be reduced to support regular program costs such as ice rentals, and field rentals, the township said.
