300 tickets in a week at five most dangerous crossings

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) reported a “slight improvement” at Oshawa’s five most dangerous intersections.

However, DRPS officers from the Central East Division, still managed to write more than 300 tickets in a week at the five locations.

“The DRPS Central East Division Traffic Safety Team results for last week are in,” said a police tweet yesterday.

“And, although it’s a slight improvement over the same period in March, over 300 tickets were issued in and around the five High Collision Intersections,” it added.

“Let’s get that number lower this week,” it urged.
