Police concerned for man’s safety after woman found dead

Durham Police are searching for a male after a female  was found deceased in Oshawa.

They said they have concerns for the male’s safety. No reasons were cited for the concern.

On Tuesday, May 7 at about 7 am, members of Central East Division responded to a check on well being call at a residence in the area of Rideau Street and Saguenay Avenue.

Police entered the residence and located a deceased female. Police have been unable to locate a male associated to the female and residence, and have concerns for his safety. He is believed to be operating a blue Ford Escape with Ontario licence plate, said a police report.

The missing male, age 31, is described as: Brown, approximately 5’8”, with a medium build.

If you see the vehicle or male, please do not approach, and immediately contact 911, said the police.
