Impaired driver rolls car and flees…but not from Klutch

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) K-9 Unit saved suspect who apparently preferred to freeze than surrender to the warm embrace of police.

PC Wes King with K9 Klutch and DRPS Central East Division recently teamed up to track an impaired driver who had rolled his car and fled.

In sub-zero temperatures, Klutch tracked and located the perpetrator a short distance away. He was attempting to conceal himself in a wooded area.

He wisely surrendered without incident, said a DRPS K-9 Unit tweet.

Well done Klutch!
